In other news, the Trump administration will not participate in a global effort to develop a COVID-19 vaccine because the World Health Organization is involved in the project. Isn’t it great having such a corrupt, petty administration in the White House?

The NYT had a piece in its newsletter yesterday explaining a study that concludes that if the US simply had an average response to the pandemic based upon other affluent countries, we would be looking at less than 40,000 deaths right now, rather than in excess of 180,000. That’s how far below a replacement level president Trump is.

Also, as the study suggests that the disease invades the body primarily through the nose, this confirms the anecdotal results that wearing masks has on suppressing its spread.
