By the way, shouting is understood to be a serious vector of viral transmission, so please keep your protests to library voice decibels. In the perfectly plausible case that you have never visited a library, just know that people are meant to speak very softly. Also, singing, which is why I suspect in retrospect we will view the tragic cancellation of the Vanilla Ice concert with some begrudging relief.

Not that I’m in love with Hurd or anything, but contrast him to say, Chip Roy. Weird how a competitive district improves the quality of the rep.
Competitive districts improve everything. I’m certainly no conservative, but I can appreciate some of the arguments. But the gerrymandering and winner-takes-all primary system ensures that we get the most polarizing candidates possible. Fix the districting nonsense, and I think a lot of things get better. It would also be nice to introduce some sort of ranked voting system.
