That was our “MORANS” moment of Covid, so far.
haha Koreans are quick to protest and pretty much don’t trust their government at all but not a peep when it comes to required masks. I’m just a foreigner so I just fall in line and keep my mouth shut for the most part.

That’s the same stupid line from weeks or months ago. I guess no one in his circle had the courage to tell him how stupid it was the first time he said it. Alternatively, dementia might be accelerating in his already feeble mind.

Well, I mean, that’s the stunning truth of this whole thing. The only plan they have, the only thing they have thought to do and know to do, is to ignore it. It’s pretty amazing, really.
I can’t tell whether they’re banking on the miracle of a vaccine being available before November or if they are so certain that their voter suppression / voter fraud initiatives will be successful that they don’t even have to pretend.

I think - for the first time in his life - he’s met a problem that no one can bail him out of and he can’t default on. He’s stuck with this, has no idea how to actually do anything, so just keeps trying to wish it away. That’s been his entire approach from day one.

People should start hammering this administration (and the states, since the administration will simply say that’s the states’ problem) now with questions about how they plan to make sure that everybody has the opportunity to vote. If polling places are overwhelmed, understaffed, stuck with broken machinery, whatever, what are they going to do about it?
