He’s vaccinated, apparently thanks to Trump’s mind boggling scientific knowledge and unparalleled administrative leadership. But Biden and Pelosi refuse to give Trump the credit for advancing medicine to hereunto unimaginable heights and are discouraging people from getting it.
And I’m with you. If convincing people to get vaccinated is all Trump’s idea, go for it. Whatever it takes. But reality waived bye bye to these idiots a long time ago.
By ridiculing the anti-vaxxers you only stiffen their resolve to not get vaccinated. Therefore, you are responsible for the unvaccinated.
It is unreasonable to assume Real 'Mericans ™ can possibly find the time to get vaccinated when they are on patrol 24/7 for JFK Jr., and Sr., and Elvis, and Michael Jackson AND scouring pizza parlor basements for baby-eaters…wait a minute, how do we know that’s real pepperoni?
It takes time and effort to harass election workers, health care workers, and those that aren’t obviously Real 'Mericans ™. Also, you don’t think that coal rolls itself. do you?
In short, Libtards are at fault for the fake virus that Fauci payed the Chinese to make. The wonderful vaccine that Trump created by himself and for which Libtards will not give him credit is a fake “mark of the Beast” that libtards are trying to impose on godly Christians. Obvious.
More bad news for the unvaxxed: monoclonal antibodies - that saved their Dear Leader from a slow death on a ventilator and that have been saving their stoopid asses for the best part of a year - don’t work against Omicron. They’re just going to have to rely on their superior whiteness to fend off the new variant.
My son who’s 30 and vaccinated tested positive. My sister who’s 71 and half-vaccinated tested positive. We were together Monday, and I tested negative from a test yesterday. Kris ordered some home tests, and then I figured out they were coming from Roman.
Somehow I suspect that’s going to light up our emails with stuff that has nothing to do with Covid.
Well we woke up this Christmas morning with a positive test result message for my wife who is triple vaxed and an “inconclusive” for me. She has had light symptoms like a cold for a few days. The government contacted us, told me to go take a test immediately, and started setting us up for home care. They dropped off some supplies like a thermometer, bags for trash disposal, COVID tests, and some other things almost immediately. Medicine and food should arrive tomorrow and she’s monitoring her symptoms with an iPhone app and daily phone calls from the government. We’re isolated in separate rooms for the next 6 days unless I test positive tomorrow.
I was at a dinner a couple of weeks ago, and I found out a couple of days ago, from a third party, that 4 people there came down with COVID. None of them thought to tell me, which pissed me off considering there were only 10 of us at dinner. I am assuming that I am clear by now, so a bullet dodged. It did help reinforce my decision to stay isolated this Christmas, though.
Yesterday my fully-vaxxed 85-year-old father was experiencing what he called, “cedar fever” so I gave him one of my home tests and it came back positive. Follow up test confirmed. His wife, me and my brother all negative. He had a procedure at UTMB on Tuesday where he tested negative and has been literally nowhere but home with us since. He’s a retired surgeon and he said it figures he’d get it at the hospital. He seems to be fine other than allergy symptoms but we’re watching carefully.
This week I’ve gone through a sore throat, a runny nose, and a cough, and tested myself a few times (PCR and rapid)—all negative. Wife and friends we saw last weekend also all negative. So I either have a cold, or I’m patient zero for some new undetectable variant that I’m unleashing on the world. Sorry in advance.
We all got tested on Thursday prior to our Christmas get-together with my parents and sisters’ families. All of our rapid tests were negative. We had been at my parents’ house about 15 minutes when my wife’s PCR test came back positive. She is vaccinated and boosted and has no symptoms.
After nearly two full years of shitty pandemic circumstances, having to pack the four of us up and head back home was the ultimate shitburger we’ve had to eat so far.
Man that sucks. My dad was supposed to go to my sister’s last night and spend the night and day today. I called him this afternoon, thinking he’d be there. He was at home. My niece’s boyfriend, unvaccinated, tested positive on Thursday. My niece got tested, and she was positive too, despite being fully vaccinated and having already had COVID. So my dad, on his first Christmas without my mom, had to spend it alone. I tried to get him to come to my house, but he wouldn’t so late. I’m pretty pissed that my sister didn’t call to tell me, so he could have come to my house.
