Very fluid situation but it appears everything may happen today, one way or the other. There are conflicting reports about Arizona, ASU and Utah. PAC12 presidents expected to meet today about a grant of rights. Oregon and Washington to the Big 10 seems to not be happening now. I don’t think anybody has any idea how this all plays out.
Failed to get the deal signed this morning, apparently. As I said, fluid situation.

For those that don’t have twitter
Quick morning recap:
Pac-9 saved, all schools staying and signing ironclad Grant of Rights
Arizona pushing to leave for the Big 12
Oregon/Washington rejected by Big Ten
Pac-9 dead and not signing anything
Oregon/Washington to Big Ten
Tallahassee annexed by Saudi Arabia
Brett McMurhpy, who is usually pretty solid:
Pac-12 unable to get Grant of Rights signed this morning & “nothing has changed” as far as Oregon & Washington joining Big Ten, sources told
. Ducks & Huskies still expected to be Big Ten bound when finances are worked out, sources said
If I am pulling for one of these to be true, this is the one.
They can have all of Florida
They may already have it.
Oregon and Washington are joining the Big 10
The PAC 12 is officially dead then.
Yeah, no way the Arizona schools and Utah resist the B12 now
They’ve lost USC, UCLA, Colorado, Washington and Oregon. Most assuredly Arizona and Tempe Normal. Not much left to build on.
God love ya, HH, for referring to the glorified junior college north of Tucson properly.
You’re a good man.
He is!

He’s fun to imbibe with at The Flying Saucer, too.
Going into last night’s ABOR meeting, all the momentum was for the UofA leaving for the B12. Apparently, tempe normal didn’t want the schools to be in separate conferences, so ABOR kept the UofA from leaving.
There was some more chatter that Arizona also wanted to see whether Oregon was leaving for the B12 after the B1G move fell through.
Now I’m seeing conflicting reports that Arizona and tempe normal are still on track to join B12, Washington and Oregon are back in line to join the B1G, and that nothing has changed for the PAC-12/9.
There was another rumor, which would be my fucking dream scenario, that the remaining PAC schools may join with most or all of the ACC.
What a time to be alive.
Hooray for geographically proper conferences!
I’m learning all sorts of things from you guys. I now know the proper name for that school and that every team in the EPL other than Crystal Palace can choke on a bag of dicks. Thanks for educating me.
