FSU also might be trying to force their way out of the ACC

The AppleTV deal proposed would require every single current AppleTV subscriber to pay an additional $20 subscription for the money per school to reach Big 12 or ACC levels

This has been true for ten years. And the regents today said specifically that the money needs to change in the next 12 months or they should force their way out.

When Colorado jumped to the B12, it was reported that they would make the same as the other members. Apparently the B12s TV deal has a clause in it that any school coming in would get a full share without the need to renegotiate. There is every reason for any of those schools to jump, and jump now.

That offer was and is a joke. The PAC royally fucked themselves. Have been for 15 years

Unless the Big 10 use their marginal monetary advantage to pull a partner with FSU who’s an AAU member and not pleased with the SEC.

Hi, Florida.

If that happens, amend my statement to say: Welcome, Clemson and Miami to the SEC.

It pays to be the aggressor. He came out swinging from the word go. People gravitate to confidence and Yormark oozes confidence. PAC guy, who’s name I can’t spell, does not.

Edit -

George Kliavkoff I looked it up

Yormark wisely recognized that the goal was not to keep up with the SEC and Big 10; it was to be the third man standing.

You don’t have to outrun the bear, you just have to outrun the PAC12

Does that actually require running, though?

Correct, the Arizona Board of Regents is in charge of the UofA, tempe normal, and NAU (Northern Arizona University). They have a meeting scheduled for tomorrow evening and the second agenda item is to specifically discuss a matter relating to Arizona athletics. Don’t know if that’s system wide or specific to the UofA.

The PAC-12 is really paying the price now for larry scott’s myopic, self-serving and horrific tenure as commish.

I love Flagstaff but I don’t see where NAU really figures into all this realignment talk.

Went to NAU my freshman year, love Flagstaff, but NAU isn’t a part of the realignment discussion.
They’re just under the same guise of the Arizona Board of Regents like UofA and the glorified junior college in tempe that can suck it.

B1G presidents have authorized the commissioner to “explore expansion” focus is on Washington and Oregon
