College Game Day is in Houston today for the Coogs matchup against Iowa State.
That was a fun ESPN Game Day. Case Keenum, Dennis Quaid, Hakeem Olajuwon, Andre Ware, Jim Nantz, and Carl Lewis, were some of the ex-Coogs making appearances. Good for the school and the city.
Nice win by UH. If you told me they’d have 6 assists and 17 TO’s I’d have guessed they got their butts kicked. Cryer was ridiculous.

Cougars with a solid win.
The Cougars just couldn’t put a depleted but spirited Cyclone team away. Every time they built a double digit lead, ISU would chip it down to one or two possessions.
The Cyclones are a very good basketball team. The Cougars could win a natty.
Cryer was the difference in the game. Every time ISU got close Cryer took over. That was his highest point total since he scored 30 against Bama back in November. He was the best player on the court today. Big win for Houston but ISU being down two of their top scorers does tarnish the quality of the win a bit.

Auburn overcame another bad shooting day from outside to defeat Georgia. Johni Broome was the difference - 31 points/14 boards/4 Assists
Alabama overcame an early hole against a short handed Kentucky. They unded up pulling away to win by 13.
Duke is currently blowing out Illinois.
Texas Tech blew out WVU.
Coogs back to 40% from 3 (3rd in the nation) for the year, Sampson has never had a team that could shoot like this.

Tarnish? They won a conference game against a top 10 team. By 9 points. Never trailed after the first possession of the game. That was a quality win against a good opponent. There was nothing scandalous about it.
A win by 1 or by 20 is still a plus in the victory column.
