The damn Aggies beat Auburn last night. The first time they’ve defeated a number one ranked team.
I didn’t get to watch the game but the Auburn radio crew made it clear. Texas A&M was the more physical team and won the game on the offensive boards with 2nd chance points.
Physical play is Auburn’s weak spot this year. In the most physical games, Auburn has lost to Florida, Duke & Texas A&M and barely beat Tennessee in an absolute rock fight.
My alma mater thumped tempe normal school last night in Tucson wrapping up UA’s 1st Big 12 season.
I derive supremely profound joy in beating those clowns in any and all things.
Not wrapped up yet. The Wildcats have one more game left with Kansas.

Texas Tech beat Colorado as expected. The Red Raiders finish their regular season Saturday against the Sun Devils.

Auburn/Alabama 1H was fun, I’m at a loss to figure out why Bama can’t play at least average defense, as athletic as they are. When their offense is clicking it’s really fun to watch.
Maybe playing the team with the number one offensive efficiency has something to do with how Bama’s defense looks.
As an Auburn fan, I would like to see Broome benefit with all the contact he takes down low with a foul shot every now and then.
Well sure, if that comment was based on watching only one half of one of their games.

What a game. Sears showed up when it counted
Auburn is now 0-2 in games where. Chad Baker Mazara gets ejected for a cheap shot.
Bama was physical with him and he took the cheap shot in retaliation. Somehow he hasn’t learned from last year’s ejection.
Oats had a great play call in the last play. Having Sears and Philon isolated together. Philon went behind Sears. When Kelly followed Philon, it created the path for Sears to go to his left with no resistance. Auburn had been keeping him from going left most of the game. Not that time.
Broome really played well for most of the game. 34 points, 8 boards, 5 blocks, three steals, three assist. He took 23 two point baskets, most around the rim. He only shot 5 free throws. I just don’t understand that.

Excellent use of the TO by Bama’s coach at the end of the game to draw that one up. Drew it up for a LH guard too.
