College Basketball '22-'23

I learned the other day, via Texas Monthly’s annual Bum Steer/best and worst of Texas issue, that Tech won the International Meat Judging Championship for the 3rd straight year, and 16th time overall. So they’ve got that going for them, which is nice.

That’s got to really get the Aggies’ goat.

Exactly my first thought.

Okie State up on Kansas by 10 and Iowa State up on Baylor by 1 late in the 1st half. Big 12 hoops is a meatgrinder.

OSU over KU 45 - 30 at the half.

The tiebreaking fadeaway jump hook by Carr with 50 seconds left is a very much nononoyes! shot

Texas and Kansas both come back and win.

Bunch of good top-25 games so far today. Only UConn and Baylor have lost, what a bummer.

Kansas got some nice home cooking at the end of their game.

Shocking. I missed the end of that, any good highlights online yet?

They always do. And also in the conference tourney over in KC.

My alma mater beats the flaming shrimp forks from tempe, clad in the UA throwback 1997 National Championship/navy blue unis from my college years.

Love seeing Bobby Hurley lose his shit like a toddler and beating those fuckwits in their place.

Let’s go BasketCats.

And both had little meltdowns while they did it

Another great win by the Coogs. #1 in KenPom should be 1 or 2 in the NET. Awesome environment at the game today for a 1pm game

You hate to see it…

They are already #1 in the NET, they should also move up to #2 in the polls.

Purdue loses to Rutgers. If the Coogs take care of business this week, they should move back into #1 in the AP and Coaches polls. FWIW.

This has been an absolutely brutal half of basketball for UT. On top of getting whipped by a team in all lavendar…

K State must have shot 80% in the first half.
