This Texas team is so inconsistent. Can look really good, really shitty and really good within a thirty second stretch. Hope they stay resilient and it all falls into place on the good side as that side is really fun to watch.

They need to do a better job of protecting the basketball. When they donât commit silly turnovers like the two Mitchell had in transition, they should be able to run good offense with Abmas, Disu and Hunter on the court more often than not.
It seems like a lack of focus, and in a league as good as the Big 12, teams make you pay for those lapses. This is their fifth straight game against a ranked opponent.

Itâs a great half after TCU jumped out 12-4 to start the game. When Texas protects the ball on offense and doesnât allow a bunch of offensive rebounds, they are tough to beat. Itâs when they commit a bunch of dumb turnovers and stop boxing out that things go haywire.
It shows how tough the league is that this Texas team is 3-5 in conference play.

Max Fucking Abmas! He struggled shooting most of the game, but when the game was tied at 64, he goes on a personal 11-0 run to win the game for the Horns.
Big road win for Texas over a top 25 team.

Losing the lead twice in the second half. Both times, immediately regaining it with a run. Pretty special.

Yep. When TCU made their runs, Texas responded.
Going 3-2 so far in this six game gauntlet (#12 Iowa State is their next opponent) with their season on the line is as good as I could have hoped for. They could have beaten Houston on Monday if they boxed out a little better or made a few more front ends of 1 and 1âs.
Texas now has three, which is the most in the conference. Two over top 25 teams.
