College Baseball 2023

Penn is up 5-1 in the 4th inning over Southern Miss. But Southern Miss has two men on with no one out. Penn is a fundamentally sound team with some really good pitching.

Now tied 5 -5 after 4. Took Penn to long to get a reliever warmed up. The guy who pitched against Auburn Friday is now in the game.

So. Miss has put together a couple of big innings - they are now up 11-7 and still batting in the 8th.

Froggies putting a beat down on the Piggies. 11-4 in B8.

Man, I love this report. A former McCallum player played at Arkansas, and he is insufferable on Facebook about the Piggies.

The “Omahogs” will be watching the CWS from home, for the 3rd year in a row. Poor Piggies!!

Thoughts and prayers

Stanford beats the Aggies 7-1, and the Horns will travel to Palo Alto this weekend for the Super Regionals. Game 1 is Saturday at 5 PM CDT on ESPN2.

Hook ‘ em Horns!

Sports are good:

This week, Indiana State was supposed to host its first-ever NCAA Super Regional.

A lack of hotels in town due to the Special Olympics will force the Sycamores to play at TCU.

As a show of a support, TCU fans have donated over $25,000 to the Special Olympics of Indiana.

Some fun games yesterday, even the teams I’m low-key rooting for went 1-3. Hoping for better results today. Hook 'em, go Frogs.

Wake’s pinstripe uniforms are godawful

Horn pitcher need to not throw the ball down the middle with 2 strikes.

He is all over the place. Hitting spots is for 40 year olds. Just throw strikes.

Oral Roberts has a guy named Blaze Brothers, and I don’t even know what to think about this, but I like it.

ORU and the 900 ft Jesus just walked it off. Great game. Game 3 manana.

Horns gave up a run in the first but have scored two in the third for a 2-1 lead.

LSU has moved on after dispatching Kentucky.

… and Stanford immediately ties in the top of the 4th.

Johnson wastes so many pitches.
