I’m not sure I would say he was lousy, but he allowed ND a bunch of so-so hits. I personally thought that guy was out on the bunt, and upholding that call might have made a big difference.
He was safe, and I will say again Hansen was lousy. ND is aggressive, he was pitching up in the zone, he hit at least two batters, and ND hit the ball often and hard.
He appeared to be safe, and UT got a break on the first challenge that didn’t have enough to really overturn. ND has thoroughly outplayed Texas so far.
As did ECU last Saturday, until they didn’t. Maybe there’s more of that magic left.

Hard to believe we ended up in a side of the bracket where ND is the team you don’t mind losing to.
With this UT pitching staff, I don’t want to lose to anyone. Burning the two most reliable pitchers tonight means that several other folks are going to have to pick up the slack.
