Fairfield being very generous with freebies so far. 6 walks and 3 bases on errors.
I am sure they are out of pitchers.
They are, broadcast has mentioned it a couple of times. They’re on their 3rd pitcher of the game and none of them have pitched much this year (14.2 IP total)
Worrell button on
I’m not watching. Are Moreland and Swindell doing the game?
Thank God, no. Cannot stand them.
This HPU is awful.
Bob Wischusen and Gregg Olson
Update on the last two Big XII teams in the tournament:
Texas leads Fairfield 5-0 in the bottom of the second and Texas Tech leads UCLA 7-5 in the bottom of the sixth. Both Texas and Texas Tech are the visiting team in these games.
This game is going to go to midnight…Monday.
I believe the clock has struck midnight for the Stags. Now 10-0 Longhorns.
10-2
I expect more feasting as they get deeper into Fairfield’s bullpen.
I’ll be fast asleep. ZZZZZZZZZ

Texas Tech defeats UCLA 8-2 and will host the Super Regional against either Stanford or UCI.
Tech swept their regional by beating Army, North Carolina, and UCLA each once.
Wreck 'Em!
UCI came back with six runs in the eighth inning to beat Stanford 8-4. Tech will have to wait until tomorrow to learn their opponent in the Super Regional.
Texas beats Fairfield 12-2. They will host half of South Florabama in the Super Regional. They’ll find out which half tomorrow.
The Astros won today and my alma mater is on to the Super Regionals.
Well done, BatCats, in beating UCSB.
‘Twas a good beisbol day.
Next to Pete Incaviglia, Oddibie McDowell was the best college player I’ve ever seen.
Bonds was on that team and was way better, statistically anyway. Bonds was an incredible college player and an incredible asshole even then, apparently.
