CFB 2022

Same. I am glad that we have more variety in offense now.

My neighbor/coworker back in SoCal was a USNA grad and flew F-18s.
It was fun going to his crib and watching this game.

Having a lifelong affinity for U.S. Naval Aviation (Aviation Officer Candidate School/AOCS didn’t pan out as I’d hoped), and family who were former Navy, I have to pull for the Midshipmen.

I loved to coach triple option, and we had passes too. Not wide open like today, but I loved that offense.

Holy shit. They play four quarters and it’s 10-10. Two plays in OT and two touchdowns.

What a great game.

Wow.

Army wins!

Put Navy #34 on suicide watch.

He looks inconsolable

Great game. Navy was honoring Alan Shepard today who was a sailor. Disappointed but we’ll get them next year.

No matter who wins, I love this game.

I agree. The game is great no matter who wins but I do have a preference.

Oh, I do too, but not as strong as yours. My Dad was in the Army from 1941-45, but I am ok with a Navy win.

Everybody had an assignment, and if you did them right there was no stopping it.

I love to talk about the triple option. UCLA came up with a way to stop it, then DKR made the veer “loaded” adjustment, and it was unstoppable again. The idea of NOT blocking the guys at the point of attack was mind-blowing. A coach had to believe in it; it was not a sometimes offense.

Liberty Hill HS and their coaching tree (Marble Falls and others) still run it.
