Syracuse came to play today.
I really don’t understand how Iowa allows Kirk Ferentz to let his son continue as OC. This has gotten worse and worse every year. Surely Kirk realizes that either he fires/demotes his son or accept that 7-5/6-6 is the ceiling.
If I was Brian Ferentz I would resign because I am destroying my dads legacy

Syracuse also had a couple of completely boneheaded penalties to extend that Clemson TD drive
I hate those “late hit out of bounds” calls when the QB(it’s only ever called when it’s the QB) is not really out of bounds yet. It was a dumb thing to do because of down and distance but I really hate those calls. Just feels like sometimes you’re asking the defender to judge intent. Klubnik was not out of bounds yet when he was hit

I don’t understand why Clemson continues to play DJ Ugavowlie. Every time Klubnick has come in he’s done a better job, and it’s clear that DJ is a poor passer.
Klubnik’s gonna be a stud. I was bummed when he didn’t go to UT but it’s not like we’re hurting at QB for the next few years

They can move the ball, and protect the passer, but they have difficulty stopping the run.
They are no longer the Big XII’s Vanderbilt.
They aren’t great, they aren’t bad, but they aren’t Kansas. They are a normal B12 team. They can beat anybody and they can lose to anybody and that is massive progress
