Thank you.
Oh well, sorry Fubo, I’m sure we’ll have a wonderful week together.

MLB TV just carries the regional networks’ broadcasts.
I only get around it because my buddy has Youtube TV and I am a “family member” on his account. In return he has my Fubo login to watch the Rangers/Mavs. But yeah there are some hoops one has to jump through with many streaming services
With YouTube TV and Fubo TV, you are paying month to month. So, you could do Fubo between April - September (after March Madness ends and through the end of the MLB regular season) and switch to YouTube TV for playoff baseball (October - November) and March Madness (March-early April).
Bingo. I’ve already thought about this.
Someday they’ll have this whole streaming shit simplified. Maybe.
Amazon has bailed out the Bally’s RSNs, and being able to purchase your home team’s games via Amazon Prime is a part of it:
Customers will be able to access their local team’s content on Prime Video channels where Diamond has rights. Pricing and availability will be announced at a later date. Regional sports content will also remain available on cable and satellite providers.
Getting a step closer to a la carte.
Wonder if the local restrictions thing will survive the downfall of the RSNs.
I think that as long as the rights-holders are allowed to monetize their investment, through carriage fees and advertising, I don’t see why streaming isn’t the next logical step. Especially considering how many are moving away from cable as a rule. As I mentioned in another thread, Bally’s already has a streaming option in this market to see Rays and Lightning games so I don’t see why any or all RSNs can’t follow, unless that’s some bankruptcy exception.
