He has to hope for a turnaround. He has no other choice. Abreu isn’t going anywhere. We can wring our hands and shout until were blue in the face but it is what it is. We just have to hope he turns it around like he did last year, just not wait until September to do it this time.

My guess is that the Astros will offer Bregman a fair 5/$100mm contract, to which he/Boras will decline and remain unsigned through spring training like Boras has been doing with his clients lately. Then I’m guessing he will sign elsewhere on a short term deal.
