Braves @ Astros, 17 Apr 24

If Dana Brown is telling Espada to give the Astros’ high-leverage bullpen arms four or five days between outings, he should be fired. It’s hard to stay sharp when you don’t get work in game situations.

This doesn’t excuse Pressly allowing the tying runs, but bullpen arms have to pitch more frequently than once every four or five days.

Sit your ass down, Acuña.

Hader sharp.

Get 1 run now, please.

Walk this game off, Astros!

Absolutely agree. After 2 days off for one of those 3 the gameplan needs to include “really try to get ______ into the game tonight” and if that means they get some work in a not super close game so be it

Fuck off, Riley. It was a strike.

Sigh.

Single thru the left side gives Atl a 5-4 lead.

Good guys up to bat.

Astros’ offense: Put together good at bats against Iglesias and find a way to win this game.

Their winning percentage is in Abreu OPS territory.

When you don’t play complementary baseball, that happens.

But, no excuses today. The Astros have to nut up and win this game. Don’t care how, just get the job done.

Come on Jeremy, get Jake home.

Fucking hell.

This team is a complete dumpster fire.

Welp.

Wasn’t a strike, blue.

This is infuriating.

Abreu’s batting average is now less than his uniform number.

Of all the things I thought possible with this team, 6-14 was never on my radar. I can only hope that they can use the day off to regroup
