Brien Taylor says hello.
Pirates go in to LA and sweep the Dodgers. 5 of the Dodgers 17 losses this season have come at the hands of Pittsburgh.
2nd pick that year? Some guy named Verlander
You hate to see it.
Thoughts and prayers for the hated fucking dojers.
He has been since 2016. You need to follow the GZ more.
He was the one who plunked Bautista before the big fracas on 2B with the league’s worst 2Bman.
Impressive rap sheet he has.
The Dodger run differential is 112, the Pirates is -77.
“This guy’s got a rap sheet longer than my… well, it’s pretty long.”
He served his thirty-nine months in the big house.
Internet never forgets.
4 more come at the hands of the 22-29 Phillies
Girardi fired by Philly
That will surely turn all those guys into adequate fielders.
ESPN is telling me Vince Velasquz has been placed on the 15-day IL. How many different IL’s are there now? I thought we had a 5- (or 7?) day Covid IL, a 10-day IL, and a 60-day IL (plus paternity leave).
MLB brought back the 15-day IL for pitchers and two-way players in 2022, with the 10-day IL remaining in place for position players.
There is a 7-day specifically for concussions, a 10-day for position players, a 15-day for pitchers or two way players, and the traditional 60-day. There are also the paternity list and bereavement list.
Plus the COVID injured list (no minimum or maximum number of days).
Plus the restricted list (among others unvaxxed players who can’t travel to Canada are placed on this list–these Twins players for example).
Non-MLB, but there’s been 2 inside the park “grand slams” in the past 2 days…1 in the NCAA and 1 in AAA
I didn’t know about this rule either
