Iām surprised that MLB has not made the wearing of a mask (of some sort) mandatory for all pitchers.
It is tough. Pitchers have resisted the options that exist so far, and I get why. Designing something lightweight, stable, unobtrusive, and protective is a tall order. I think the solution probably looks something like this more than the options MLB pitchers have used so far (though maybe that design is impractical in baseball given how much more the pitcherās head moves than in softball, idk). I just hope it doesnāt take more tragedy to make it happen.

So Trevor Bauer basically exhonerated. Judge rules āit was her own faultā.
I expect heāll be pitching this weekend.
That is a disgrace. He shouldnāt be anywhere near a major league mound again.
I donāt know about that.
The judge ruled that Bauer did nothing wrong, did not cross the boundaries she set, and is not a threat. His suspension ends tomorrow. MLB may extend it. They may not.
Thereād be quite a backlash if they didnāt. So of course they wonāt. Theyāll probably recommend he get a bonus.
Isnāt always her own fault?? .
And really, that is why women donāt come forward.
