Nothing new, to say this, but Tony La Russa should not be a manager anymore
TLR ran like he had just crapped his pants.
La Russa is an obsolete ass.
He didnât want to fall and break a hip.
Neither should Crusty the Clown Baker.
I donât hate to see it. Iâm LMAOâŠ
About 20 years ago I was in St.Louis with my family on a driving vacation to Chicago. We were in The Hill neighborhood, where Yogi and Joe G. grew up, for an Italian dinner. This is a real neighborhood and parking is scarce at dinner time because of the plethora of Italian restaurants. So the wife says âthere, pull over and give that guy your keys.â I ask why and she suggests he looks like a valet. By now I have realized that the valet in question, who had just parked and gotten out of a late-model Cadillac, was Tony LaRussa wearing a pair of khakis and a Cardinals polo shirt. He was headed for the same restaurant I had chosen for dinner. I still remind her of that everytime we see him on tv.
âParkedâ across the median.
Tatis was placed on 10 day IL again.
More left shoulder issues.
This is 2nd time this year and has also had them in the past. Itâs obviously a structural issue that will keep happening until/unless they have it surgically fixed.
Good news is that itâs not the throwing shoulder.
Padres did not get the same level of upgrades at the deadline that Dodgers and Giants did, so they may fall out of the race over the next few weeks. Although they are still in great shape for a wild card.
If that happens they may shut him down.
But I would expect them to keep babying the shoulder as Lang as they have a shot.
Impressed with how Hinch instilled a winning mentality with this young and talented club just two months into their season.
And the White Sox passed on him to chose La Russa. Good for the Tigers.
Still completely baffling, except for the Reinsdorf factor.
They wanted a guy with a clean record when it comes to sign stealing⊠oh wait
whats on second, I donât know whoâs on third.
Joey Votto speaks upâŠ
No, no, no, no. Donât ever forget the 2017 World Series Champion Houston Astros. The Astros should now and forever be the only team anyone thinks or cares about.
I agree. If itâs good enough for me, itâs good enough for them.
