Wasn’t one of those the one that ended up on someone’s front porch?
He could also make better throws from center, but only with his left hand.
Since I’m bored, sitting here waiting for the tree crew that told me they were coming today…at 4:30 yesterday
Bagwell only got to play 18 games at the new park: .317 .444 .650 1.094 (6HR, 17RBI)
Riverfront: 79G, 41 XBH, .295 .398. 577 .976
I miss him….
But enjoy him in the booth.
If he maintains his gold glove-caliber defense at 3B, it’s not that bad. Also, the Giants have trouble attracting elite hitters to want to play at Oracle Park unless they overpay. It’s not a hitter-friendly park.
You’re right, he didn’t fall off with the bat as much as I thought, and he was more durable than I though.
From the Athletic: Astros are last in the majors in pitch timer violations (24)
Last meaning worst or best?
I guess this goes here since this is really miscellaneous and a little related to baseball. I’m going to SE Asia for the next 10 days. If the Astros do great, I guess it was me. If not, it was one of you.
The Astros are 0-5 in World Series games I’ve attended. If I get another chance, I’m going. They’re just gonna have to figure out a way to make it work. They’re stuck with me whether they like it or not.
But if they win the next 10 games, you can’t come home.
Worst
Where in SE Asia?
Not until November, anyway.
Singapore for work. 3 days in Phuket for a few personal days at the end. I will 1) do good work, 2) eat street food like a champion the entire time and 3) be peeking at live Astros baseball early in the mornings as I get ready for work. Ok, doors are closing. Bring home some Astros wins, y’all!!!
For those who don’t know…that’s “poo-KET”, not “fuck it”.
I reject this and create my own reality
Phuket. He-he-he.
I thought it was a veiled attempt at a code word for vacation. Either way, fuck it.
Street food in Singapore probably means something civilized like the Newton Circus Food Court, but it is still great. Thai street food is great AND cheap though. Enjoy!
The street food in Singapore is so good i would actually be willing to fly back there again to experience it another time.
