It was a long road getting there. The tension between players and the front office was pretty terrible during the early Luhnow years. I don’t think it was really til 2017 (and for some, maybe til Luhnow was shown the door) that things really reached the level they’re at now.

It was CBS? news, I was in the kitchen and said “hey, rewind that”.
They mentioned his age and that he spent all spring/summer coaching his son’s LL team. He pitched 1 game in AAA and then got called up.
