Man, the A’s can’t catch a break, and when they do, it’s the sucky kind. Star reliever and prime trade deadline asset Mason Miller fractured a finger (on his non-throwing hand).
Forgive me for not having a lot of pity for him since he broke it in frustration while hitting a table.

Some dum dum with the Marlins broke his foot kicking something a couple of weeks ago.
Francis Scott Key might have said the same thing. That’s a hard song to sing sober.
If you throw out their two 14-game losing streaks this season, the White Sox are 27-53. That .338 winning percentage would still be the worst in baseball.
