Rocky and the Tiger…there’s gotta be a song here

Lucky Shot

I pulled Matt Nokes out of the ether and connected. Blind squirrel.

LaTroy Hawkins and Rick White are also great dice rolls.

Got 7/9 today. I could have sworn Jay Bell played for the Blue Jays.

My second or third 9/9, thanks to some good luck in whose baseball reference pages I’ve had occasion to look up in the past couple weeks.

Does anybody know–for future reference–whether or not Expos are included among Nationals?

I believe they do count

This could get confusing for successor franchises. What about the Senators/Rangers/Twins? The Reds/Braves? Orioles/Yankees?

My guess is they pull from Baseball Reference or a similar service and organize the franchises however they appear there. Here’s the BRef page: List of all the Major League Baseball Teams | Baseball-Reference.com

I’m guessing that’s where they get their info too. But it can get confusing when talking about a player from the very early days.

Definitely.

I’ve used Andre Dawson for the Nats.

Eddie Matthews was the obvious choice.

Knowledge of backup catchers can be valuable. They tend to travel around.

Charlie O’Brien is a good guy to know.

Just a tip - Ken Brett played for 10 different teams.

I forgot about El Pato.

Rich Hill has been on more teams than I would have guessed.

Edit: in my head Hill pitched for the Cubs from around 05-09 and then disappeared from the face of the earth until 17
