Poor Cole. I am so fucking sad.
Oh, no. He says it was not a hard decision. He is so much smarter than all of us.
Can only imagine what went through the pitcher’s mind.
9 HR total in the NYY-MIN game. Yanks tie it at 7 in the top of the 6th. Complete slapdick defense by the Twins lets a popup drop between Polanco and Correa, and naturally a 2R HR follows.
This is entertaining: 1 hour ago the Chicago Tribune posted an article calling for AJ Pierzynski to be the next manager of the White Sox.
Gerrit “Spidertack” Cole got hammered.
In their game at home today against the Rangers…
Was curious about pitches per at bat. Looking it up, stumbled upon interesting not of most pitches per modern day at bat. Rickey Guiterez for astros aginst bartolo colon. 20 pitches.
I remember the first time I saw Colon pitch it was in the Astrodome in ‘98 or ‘99. He was incredible: this ugly little dude who threw harder than anyone I’d ever seen and did it consistently in dominating style for 7 or 8 innings. Hard to believe Mr Proboscis had that long of an at bat that game. But then again that was before pitch counts were a thing.
I think that’s about the worst thing I’ve ever heard.
How marvelous.
If Joe Madden thinks his haircut is going to motivate a team… Well, no wonder he was fired.
Remember, this is for posterity.
So…what’s wrong with the balls?
Nothing that MLB didn’t create.
They have flubber cores?
So I’ll assume the answer is “nothing” and there is no point to the tweet. Got it.
