That’s what I’ve read/ heard: the interfaces run out to the public have not been fully vetted for hallucinations etc. Other products with more important tasks than generating goofy pictures of your friends have been more carefully scrutinized. And the more specific a task you give it, the more likely it is to give a worthwhile response like DAS demonstrated above.

The quality of response from these models is directly correlated to the iterative quality of the engineered prompts. Quite similar, actually, to the quality of work output you get from a smart new employee being tied to the quality of supervisor guidance.

Edited to add; I’ll make a thread about AI over in Beer & Queso. Might be an interesting discussion and a good place to separate fact from fiction and fear.
