Baseball games involving the Astros

Somebody mentioned Chappell Hill, Texas earlier. There used to be a great cigar store + chocolate shop in the “downtown” area

Don’t sleep on the chocolate covered Payday bar.

Love Payday. Never had the chocolate one, I’ll have to try it.

I’m a fan of Payday bars, as well. Salty snacks are kind of my thing anyway. I prefer things like chips and pretzels to the sweet stuff. And popcorn is up there with fire and the wheel in terms of human achievement.

Yeah, so no Brantley today because, well, he’s 6 for 20 against Gray and Maldonado is 1 for 5. Can’t risk sending up a lefty hitting .300 when you’ve got Maldonado.

No Chas either, Dubon in CF

Last year postseason Dusty played his best guys every day. Not so this year. I can’t wait for him to not be manager

Diaz discovered by chance on plane bound for Minneapolis, gets dh assignment today.

Chas ain’t exactly been setting the box on fire lately. And he’s particularly weak against righties.

Hey, @HudsonHawk , what direct TV channel is the game on today? I’ll be in the air and they are streaming direct TV.

Urquidy officially announced as G4 starter.

Short leash. Everyone should be ready to pitch.

I’ll start stretching.

Rangers’ victory moves Astros’ Game 4 start time to 5:07 PM Houston time.

Note I got says 6:07

Yeah, I got 7:07 ET

That’s correct, sorry.

I took my car in for a repair this morning, and one of service guys saw my Astros cap and came over to offer his expert opinion on today’s game. His main point was the Astros “owed” France the start. He was not deterred by my response: “The Astros do not owe France or anyone else anything. The point is to win today’s game, and the pitching brain trust thinks Urquidy is the best choice. You and I are only fans, and we do not know shit about the Astros’ pitchers and their arms.”

Somebody please inform the sales office that putting ALCS tickets on sale already is some seriously bad mojo.

It’s the same schedule they’ve released tickets for the last seven years…
