Pretty selfish of Yordan, taking 33% of the ribbies in the Astros postseason all for himself.
Iām encouraged by the Astros offensive numbers in Arlington but the pitching has to be up to the task. Urquidy and Javier have shown in the past they can handle these kinds of situations - so that too, is encouraging, One game at a time. Win tomorrow, then prepare for the next.
Jose Abreu has another third. Which isnāt leaving much for anyone else.
Bregman now has 17 post season HR, 15 of them against all-star pitchers.
Scherzer is an 8 time all-star.
Iāll leave it there.
Iāve just been reminded, Iām going to see Peter Gabriel tomorrow night. Seeing him is on her bucket list so Iām stuck.
Heard the word today from Dusty that Tucker will get moved down in the lineup. Since his two home runs in Game 1 of last years World Series, Tucker is 3 for 41 in the Postseason with two runs batted in. So far this Postseason heās hitting a cool .091 and slugging .136. Thatās your cleanup hitter.
Great Caesarās ghost! I had no idea it was that bad
Incredibly bad. I had no idea.
Bad enough I wonder if heās got some discomfort that theyāre staying mum about.
Heās been slumping for 2+ months. He just mixed in enough HRs in Aug/Sept to keep up appearances.
Dusty didnāt say. Just said heās gonna move him down ātemporarilyā to try to take some pressure off him. He didnāt say where, but Iām guessing 5th or 6th. Heās hit a few balls hard with nothing to show. But heās generally been spectacularly awful.
Peter Gabriel is fucking amazing. Enjoy.
Well, they made the trip to Globe Life. May as well crush some Ranger dreams.
Decided to add some hopefully good mojo to the uniform for our flight to Lihue this morning.
Beat the arlington mouth-breathers.
Letās go Astros.
Yeah, Iām switching up what Iām wearing, and drinking, tonight. Somethingās gotta work.
Weāre all counting on you, bud.
Roof open tonight at Globe Life:

Anyone familiar with how that affects things there?
Just makes it look like an open backyard BBQ grill now.
Hopefully the Astros will be sizzling.
Versus a closed one the rest of the time?
Itās important to manage flare ups.
