I’m encouraged by the Astros offensive numbers in Arlington but the pitching has to be up to the task. Urquidy and Javier have shown in the past they can handle these kinds of situations - so that too, is encouraging, One game at a time. Win tomorrow, then prepare for the next.

Heard the word today from Dusty that Tucker will get moved down in the lineup. Since his two home runs in Game 1 of last years World Series, Tucker is 3 for 41 in the Postseason with two runs batted in. So far this Postseason he’s hitting a cool .091 and slugging .136. That’s your cleanup hitter.

He’s been slumping for 2+ months. He just mixed in enough HRs in Aug/Sept to keep up appearances.

Dusty didn’t say. Just said he’s gonna move him down “temporarily” to try to take some pressure off him. He didn’t say where, but I’m guessing 5th or 6th. He’s hit a few balls hard with nothing to show. But he’s generally been spectacularly awful.
