I disagree that Meyers was a clear cut better choice. Abreu? Perhaps.
And thats the problem.
Meyers, Julks, and Abreu were on the bench. None of them hit RH pitching.
Abreu is probably best but I know Dusty likes to give guys ENTIRE days off when he gives them a day off.
(I know I know. I’m obsessed with RH pitching).
