The offense has not been steady. But they scored six runs yesterday. You have to win games in which you score six runs. They’ve given up 39 runs in seven games, 19 of them in the 8th inning or later. In four of the games they’ve given up at least six runs.
Yes, the offense is struggling, but it’s about pitching, pitching, and pitching.
