Astros @ Twins, April 8, 2023

That was a set on a tee, please hit the living shit out of me, cement mixer right down the middle.

Well, I will be shocked if the Astros can muster three runs.

This team is just straight up unwatchable right now.

You misspelled hits.

This team is completely lacking any spark right now.

They’re on pace to only strike out 10 times today. Which would be a huge improvement.

Peña’s batting sixth rather than leadoff is definitely going to limit his opportunities to strike out.

No fucking way they score five times.

I don’t know: third time through the order and the pitcher has seen the hitters a couple of times, he’ll probably be even tougher.

Garcia has been a train wreck today.

B2:

Gordon singles over Pena’s head after the ump goes blind on the first pitch.
Solano singles to CF on 3-2 with the runner going, who stops at second despite Meyers fielding the ball.
Farmer drives one out to LF. 3-0 Twins
Vazquez walks, time to visit the mound.
Taylor flies to the LCF warning track
Buxton flies to basically the same spot
Correa gets an 0-2 meatball that he lines down the RF line for a double. Vazquez holds at 3B as the Twins keep their record of steadfastly refusing to take an extra base under any circumstance.
Larnach lines a single to CF, Correa makes such a bad decision to run that Meyers easily throws him out at the plate. 4-0 Twins

End 2, 4-0 Twins.

Hope Blanco is ready to soak innings.

…this week.

Meyers just doubled his career assist total.

Bases drunk for the big guy…

Tie game!

Hahahahaha

Grand slam! Woo!

Alright Luis, here’s a flashlight. See if you can find your ass real fast.

T3:

Meyers flies to LF
Maldonado with a rope to LF, most guys would get a double out of that
Chas singles up the middle, Maldonado to 2b
Meyers walks
Alvarez lines one that clears the RF wall in a nanosecond for a GRAND SLAM! Tied 4-4
