I can’t believe it.

Really needed that.

Now get it done at home.

A win. What is that?

Also, thank you for finally throwing strikes, Javier and making Dusty’s move work out.

Neither did La Russa. That’s why I asked if Marheny would get it right.

My official game ball* goes to Chas.

*not official, and there is no ball

Dusty directly caused two losses in the series, then defended them strongly in the postgame interviews.

Once Bregman and Tucker get healthy this team needs to be significantly better than other teams.

They need to be good enough to compensate for Dusty’s bad decisions.

Then again, Aaron Boone and Tony LaRussa could be among the opposing managers so decision making could be a wash.

I doubt Bregman will do better than Diaz is doing right now.

No, but it would be nice to use Diaz to give Brantley, Altuve, or Yuli a day off instead of Wilson.

I doubt Wilson will survive Bregman’s return. I would rather have Jones.

Impressive AB for Chas!

Here is Aledmys Diaz’s hit giving the Astros their first lead in the game: 4-3.

Diaz is doing great. I hope Bregman finishes up at that level ( he should)

To me it’s about depth, especially in NL parks in the Series.

I think the team is better with Diaz the first player off the bench, and giving the starters a rest rather than starting every day.

I think Jones has proven he belongs.

I don’t expect him to be the star of a game or even start regularly, but ( unlike Robel and Wilson) I have hope that he will hit the ball hard when he gets a chance.

Who would have thunk there would be this much excitement over a 1-3 series in KC?
