Astros @ Rockies, July 18, 2023

Found it.

This is a long read.

After the WBC he went on the DL. The problem listed was anxiety. He’s a sympathetic character imo.

Great play by Peña.

Ok, let’s get a couple.

Both he Dubon owe us a hit (only Astros without one tonight) - a slobber knocker

Cmon boys!

Gotta score in more than one inning

2 batters left to get something

A 3 run lead that lasted zero innings.

It’s a tribute to Dusty that the team is this competitive with all the injuries, but it can be hard to watch some of these games and see how we almost win over and over …

Best offensive ball park in the land - and we get half of an inning’s worth - fuck me.

Best thing is that the Yanks are losing 5-1 to LAA

Dude, what?

It’s a tribute to Dusty we lost to a team with that is 18 point fucking 5 games back in their division because of injuries?

The Rockies are fucking PUTRID. They have a -143 run differential and the Astros scored three fucking runs against them.

Their team ERA is 5.63, which is only better than one team in all of baseball. The A’s are at 6.02.

Last night’s performance was an absolute bucket full of dog turds, and nobody deserves any credit for anything.

The good news is that we get the A’s next. Eh? Oh.

Well, the dog deserves some credit. Filling a bucket ain’t easy.

It’s a tribute to Dusty that we have the record we do despite losing half our best batters and pitchers.

No question last night sucked, but we’re gonna see more of those before we get everyone back, it’s just something we have to endure and hopefully minimize.

Ok, but I’m pretty sure the guys playing the game on the field have played a part in the wins and losses as well.
