How about the knuckle curve?

His knuckle curve is good enough but it can’t live on its own.

For Astros baseball, yes only one. I do not give a damn what opponents think, and the Astros’ broadcasters have far more accurate info about the team than opponents have.

You’ve lived w/i the Astros broadcast all your life, while others have not. Some have gotten comfortable with variety, now using mlb TV.

My bride salts everything, while I don’t. It’s her choice.

I would expect you to choose what you like…

You know what makes a good color guy? He doesn’t have to comment on every little thing.

I would LOVE the option for just listening to crowd noise, like BEING there! (Then I could listen softly to the color on radio.)

That is what we call a 6 pitcher rotation. Next year if our two guys out this year come back healthy. We will have decisions. I would not be surprised if we end up trading a stater of two. Maybe make up a little for 2 lost valuable prospects. I would think we would hold on too 6 starters. Filling middle relief starter rolls. But first we have to finish this season.

So you just wasted 3 posts trumpeting the virtues of listening to other team’s broadcasts then post this…

Jesus.

I sometimes will listen to the other teams’ broadcasts because of MLB tv not showing the Astros pregame shows, but it will show almost every other teams’ pregame shows. If the other guys aren’t interesting or if they are irritating, I will switch over soon after the game starts. Until now I never felt it necessary to comment on this other than making notice of the lack of Astros pregame and postgame shows availability.

You do not have ATT I guess?

No ATT, just MLB tv, a Utah VPN, and a HDMI cable.

Not really that complicated.

Haven’t attended many pro games. Last one was Game #3 in the 2021 WS in Atlanta.

Enjoyed the crowd noise & the Braves fans, tho not the score…

I loved this option on MLB TV and much lament its absence. Every year I send them the same litany of complaints.

Never noticed that. When was it available?
