Iā€™ve never had Sweet Baby Rays bbq sauceā€¦is it any good?

Itā€™s pretty good. I had about 12 bottles at one time. They came around the parking lot at Texansā€™ games throwing them out. I prefer Stubbs, but SBRā€™s is fine.

I like it too.

Itā€™s not great but itā€™s priced right.

Lost in all the Bregman talkā€¦Altuve is a triple shy of the cycle

I like Rudyā€™s a lot. But of course itā€™s a matter of individual preference. There are lot of sauces that I like okay. I also like to make my own out of whats left over from a rub with a little molasses and a little vinegar.

I like making my own too, but if Iā€™m buying in the store, itā€™s usually Stubbs.

I made the Franklin sauce a few months ago.

So much butter it solidified in the fridge.

I like Stubbs, too. I had the original recently, and you can really taste the vinegar in the sauce. It tasted closer to anything you would get a BBQ joint than other store-bought ones Iā€™ve tried.

Rudyā€™s is good if you like black pepper and minimal sweetness, which I often do, so I usually have a bottle of that in the fridge. Markā€™s Good Stuff has a sweet and spicy that I like on chicken & sometimes pork. Like you, I mostly use my sop/mop leftovers and turn that into something.

Just like any good wing sauce recipe.

My favorite New Orleans Cookbook has maybe 10 recipes in the whole thing that do not start with ā€œmelt a stick of butterā€.
