Abreu has really impressive velocity.
But man he’s got to get … better.

Agreed, but where has he been lately? Not at SL in games but on the “taxi squad,” I think. He need to pitch in competitive situations. I am not making excuses for him-he was terrible, and MLB in a pennant race is not the place to work on stuff-but the Astros are not helping his development.
I agree.
If he needs work get him work.
Maybe his options are running out.
Javier has pitched 1.1 innings in the last 9 days, he would have been my choice to start the 5th.
Fine with me, but I think we are letting both of these guys wither on the vine.
I’m back from my nap. Are we out of the 1st yet?
Let’s see if Maton locates his pitches better.
Note to Tucker: you call it, you’d better catch it.
At least TK was able to orgasm on that Jones fly out short of the track.
Like someone said yesterday…it was Raley’s turn to get the Astros last three outs. It was one of those days.
That was me, but I prefaced it with us scoring 10. That would not been enough as it turned out.
Top of the 3rd.
Chicago Cubs lost to the White Sox 13-1. The Stros could have beat the Cubs today.
Well…today, the bear ate you.
Let’s go win a few in Seattle.
I’ll hold my nose and root for the Yanks tonight, and we can mark one more day off the calendar with no lost ground.
Some days you’re the bat, other days you’re the ball.
Let’s never speak of this again.
Our new guys need spring training with Strom, and we need to bid Dusty a fond farewell. Please bring in someone who is good at managing games and especially good with pitchers.
Talking to myself: I wonder if Montero is close to returning?
Fond?
