Stanek and Graveman playing musical chairs for bullpen goat is an unwelcome development.
Damn. They are essentially a .500 team since the All Star break.
Joe West hosed Yuli on 3-0 and 3-1 on similar pitches, and, luckily, he didnât call one a little further out on 3-2. Then, he hosed Diaz on 0-2.
Their record by month was something like 3-4 games over .500 in April and May, much better in June/July, a few games over in August.
Pretty underwhelming for a team with this much talent.
A goat is not a guy who throws a high velocity FB when a major league hitter hits it out.
They hit the ball hard again today.
But that no outs to 2 outs swing was very costly.
Also Joe West sucks.
