Under using pitchers is just as bad as over using them.
Also, in a DP situation the infielders are supposed to remind the pitcher what to do on a ball back to him before he throws the first pitch.

Hader could have been used in the eighth with two lefties and a switch hitter in Cowser, Rutschman and Henderson due up, but by the time Abreu got into trouble, it was too late.
Catcher should tell him too. Plus he should have a fucking clue. There is no excuse whatsoever for that play. None.

Using Abreu wasnât the problem, it was Abreu doing a really, really dumb fucking thing when he had a tailor made opportunity to clean the inning up.
