According to MLB’s list of the “worst no-hitters” in MLB history, the record is 9 walks in a 9-inning no-hitter. A.J. Burnett (Marlins vs. Padres, 2001).
Also on that list is the game where Dock Ellis dropped acid before the game and still threw a no-hitter (8 walks).
