Routinely starting Chas is becoming less and less defensible

B5, quick inning for Arrighetti - F8, K, 6-3

I hope we can figure Harrison out, cobble some hits together, and get a run or two. We aren’t making him work at all as it stands.

T6:

Caratini lines to 2b
Altuve pops foul to 1b
Bregman flies to LF

If anyone scores this could be a short game.

Mid 6, 0-0

That ball was catchable.

B6:

Bailey with an easy 3u
Conforto strikes out looking on 2-2
Soler walks on 3-2
Yastrzemski triples and it’s 1-0.
That’s it for Arrighetti

Really fucking annoying that neither of those slapdicks caught that ball. There has been some real bullshit happening in the outfield lately.

Fucking walks

B6, Martinez on:
Estrada grounds 4-3

End 6, 1-0 Giants

The balls on that tank.

Yordon is lucky he’s not in the dugout.

Now he is

T7:

Yordan TRIPLES to RCF! Dead to rights but 3b couldn’t corral the throw
Pena SF to CF and the Astros tie it at 1!

Jake doubles down the 3b line, and that will be it for Harrison

I like Yordan’s recent confidence on the basepaths. He has picked up some steals lately and sure, he took a risk just now, but someone needed to shake things up.

T7 cont’d:

Hjelle in - appears to be taller than Hakeem the Dream
Dubon grounds 6-3 on first pitch, Meyers holds
Abreu grounds 6-3 to end the threat

At the stretch, 1-1

This game is moving briskly.

B7:

Scott in for Martinez
3-1 grounder leads off the inning
Schmitt K swinging on 2-2 in the dirt
Wisely flies to shallow LF

End 7, still 1-1

Man, Scott sure was a find in the offseason.

With that long of a relay, it was worth the risk of getting thrown out

Not with no one out I don’t think. It all worked out, though.
