This team needs a serious kick in the ass. Something I just thought about right now though, is there anybody that can do it? I donât think so. Maldy served that role the last two years. Correa before that. I donât see anybody on this team being able to take that role. Altuve isnât going to do it, just not how heâs wired. Abreu would be if he wasnât absolutely sucking right now. JV isnât around. Bregman, yeah right. Espoda gonna do that a week into the job? Everyone else either doesnât have the cache or doesnât seem outspoken enough. Thatâs something that really worries me.
More than losing the games, that happens, there seems to be no fire with this team. I thought that was taking their lead from Dusty last year, but that issue is even worse now. And I donât know how they fix it other than âtry harderâ
