Dusty has also spoken many times over the years about his relationship with Aaron. How he, an 18-year old from California, was nervous about playing in the Deep South in the 1960s, and didnât want to signâŚabout how Aaron took him under his wing and assured him, showed him the ropes on navigating the times. They had a very close mentor/mentee relationship. I donât think Dusty is trying to co-opt anything here.
