Like the Yankees earlier in the season, CWS was lucky to split. I’ll give them Game 2 because they came back against JV, but we gave them Game 1 and should have won 3 of 4.

Today’s goal:
Don’t make it a 1 run game

This is a nice way to end this series after the way it started. The White Sox should not have split, but at least this helps wipe away some of the bad taste from games one and two.

I only have a bad taste from the first one. They came back in two against JV, and we should not say “we shoulda won” when the other guys do something good. The loss hurt, for sure, but good teams lose.

Nope. Anything short of 162-0, fire everyone.

Uh, I hate to tell you, but….

Just looking at the box score. Vazquez had four hits.

Gotcha on that. I admittedly didn’t see his last appearance, but the velocity issues in his previous one made me nervous about fatigue.

I had to step away for the 9th today, damn phone call, how did he look tonight, location/velo-wise?

Dunno. I was not watching. He had a good inning.

He never should have pitched Monday after struggling Sunday. That was a total brain cramp by all who participated in the decision.

I am sure all of them are tired.

Sitting 96, location seemed pretty good

Dusty isn’t the best in game manager, or even a good one. And his lineups, as we have talked about ad nauseam, are not great. But he does have positive qualities

This teasing of Idaho made me think of Noe’s treatises. Now those were opportunities to read more.

But usually worth the time.

Oh, for sure. Noe is a smart baseball guy.
