Astros at Rangers, 4/26/22

Get that front leg down next time, Alex.

And run to first, Kyle.

Yep.
He looked like he wasn’t exactly hustling down the line.
Again.

Didn’t he do that last night also, on the dropped ball to LF?

Yep

That was worth a look.

Wow, what a shitty inning. If the Astros never swung the bats, they’d have plated three runs and still had the bases loaded and nobody out.

Radio crew agreed.
It sure looked close.

I’m not 100% sure Alex’s front foot touched the plate. I think his back foot got there just before the tag so it didn’t matter in the end, but yeah, get that foot down.

Abreu threw 31 pitches…two of them were in the strike zone. He gives up one run.

Maldy scalded one.

An unexpected but much appreciated excellent outing by Odorizzi.

The minor league team from arlington was 1-19 against Jake.
Way to get you a good outing, Jake.

Let’s go, bullpen.

I am happy for him. As someone said last week, he seems like a good guy who really cares.

What their fucking SS did to get on base is how I like to see hitters battle the shift.

Buckle down, Montero. Get this guy.

Whew

The Jack App is an interesting name.

Geez.

Ball found catcher’s bare hand behind his leg.

That’s baseball.
