I’ve seen pictures from the 70s when you couldn’t see your hand in front of your face. But it’s a really pretty city, and the ballpark right on the river is beautiful
Chas Ks after a missed 3-0 call.
Yeah, strike one was not a good call.
My impression of Pittsburgh was formed in the 70s solely thru images from Three Rivers Stadium.
I’ve since seen pics and videos from elsewhere and it does look like a city in an interesting/ pretty locale.
I still don’t like Terry Bradshaw though.
This HPU has a pretty bad reputation…
My first trip to Pittsburgh was arriving about 11 pm, with no dinner, and the Longhorn band director absent because he had been arrested at the airport, and we went out in search of food, with a nice police officer telling us “walk that way to McDonalds, and whatever you do, don’t cross the street”
Who does?
This ump is ticking me off
Let’s vaunt
Woohoo Tucker! 2 run seeing eye single
I guess like any city Pittsburgh has its rough areas, but I thoroughly enjoyed the downtown area and down by the river and casino. And one of my all-time favorite buildings, architecturally, is the Gulf Tower. And they had good meatballs.
Live by the infield in, die by the infield in.
Oh I think the “arriving at 11 pm” had a lot to do with that
Why did you have to go and mention him. Next time before you post something like that, ask yourself, “would I want to read this if someone else posted it?”
There are far, far better MLB cities, but it’s hard to think of a better city/ballpark combination than Pittsburgh.
The next stop on the ballpark tour is Seattle first weekend of May
Major brain fart by the pitcher there
New pitcher could have turned a double play
That one skimmed the dirt, blue
New pitcher gets the low “strike” call too
