Well, I just learned something about popcorn: you cannot use the spreadable butter with canola oil in place of half of the oil you need. It burns all to hell.
Thinking about Javier reminds me that almost every player on this roster who played regularly in the majors last year (for the Astros or other teams) has regressed in some way and is less productive due to some combination of inferior on-field performance and unavailability due to injury. Even Dubon and Maton have given back their gains from earlier in the season. The only exceptions I can think of are McCormick, a clear improvement, Meyers, the same albeit in a very limited role, and Tucker, whoâs on roughly his same pace from last year.
The odds against that much regression on one roster in one season must be staggering. The Astros have been a historically unlucky team this year. It really is amazing that they are still in contention.
