Ah, of course. A horse.
I wish they hadn’t signed Ol’ Crappy McShitpants this off-season.
He stinks.
Ask the Booth, brought to you by Champion Energy:
Whyyyyyyyyyyy?
“They are way to good to be in this kind of a funk.”
I think that’s very much in question.
So as bad as they are, all those blown saves would have them 12-12.
Goddamn, this is a hard team to watch.
Mark Leiter and Al Leiter are the only 2 brothers to have played in MLB and had a son apiece play as well.
I’m done with Bregman.
Goog God Bregman is killing this team. And I say that as one of his staunchest defenders.
The booth was complimenting Bregman on the take on a nasty slider. But he was frozen and lucky it was called a ball.
.203
.243 was the first big-boy rifle I shot anything with…
and my salsa was still spicier than his.
“sweet sassy molassy?”
First at bat tomorrow, .200 even. Next at bat, .198.
It’s remarkable that Brown thought it was a good idea to remove three good (and cheap) members of what was an exceptionally reliable bullpen and replace them with what’s out there now.
I’ll never understand Neris , Maton, and Stanek pitching for other clubs (for cheap), while we’ve got AAAA guys shuffling back and forth to AAA.
They should have signed Slugger VonBaller this offseason.
Going over the CBT to sign Hader wasn’t the problem. But, if you are going to do that, don’t pinch pennies elsewhere. You keep spending.
Also, not signing Maton, Neris and Stanek has nothing to do with Pressly, Hader and Abreu combining to blow six saves so far this season. And Montero and Seth Martinez have actually shored up the middle relief roles.
Brown could not have foreseen the injuries, but of course you have to anticipate some injuries and plan for that eventuality.
I don’t care about Hader, I care that he let three proven guys walk and replaced them with guys who aren’t nearly as good. Yes, Montero not being terrible this year is a helpful development.
