Peña with catchers interference

Diaz (the old one), Maldy and Yordan are holding the bench down on this end.

They’ve had some help from Dubón as well.

A Bregman liner and a Tucker grounder end the inning

I was hopeful that Bregman’s liner would drop, but not completely surprised when it didn’t. But I was gobsmacked when last night’s liner was caught.

So today’s trivia question: Who has homered more recently Yuli Gurriel, Jake Meyers, or Jason Castro?

Meyers, I think.

Altuve waves to a couple of fans and Yuli pushes him in the back on the digout steps.

Meanwhile Urquidy and Garcia , and now Framber phase for a picture by the camera well.

Who are three people who have never homered in my kitchen?

Meyers is correct. They both last homered in the same inning of the same day, July 1st, with Meyers’s coming two batters after Yuli.

Radio engineer in an eclectic mood - “Informer” before one inning, “Check Yes or No” before the next.

This ump is giving Angel a run for his money.

The only current Astro who has homered off of Perez (in 140+ ABs) is on the IL.

Dugout report:

Tucker acknowledges a young fan calling his name.

The little boy runs immediately to tell his family grinning from ear to ear.
