Astros @ A's, September 26, 2020

Sure looks like Siri is being waved around 3rd and then told to stop, what the hell he was waiving him home for in the first place is puzzling, as is Siri’s decision to run through the stop.

A’s at 1B and 2B, nobody out

Ok. and 3BC was doing what?

Had the stop sign up.

Passed ball, puts winning run at 3B, nobody out

Dusty’s managing the hell out of this inning.

Didn’t realize I was punching clock.

Regular as a clock. As are the comments.

Marte pops to shallow RF, McCormick tries to run Tucker over, who is able to make the play. Runner holds.

Olson intentionally walked to load the bases

Stanek out, Pressly in

Watched the play. Siri ran well first to third, slowed up because being held, wonder whose decision it was to run-his or 3BC?

Sweep, not even a chance to end their season

Canha, bases loaded…drives one off the LCF wall on the first pitch. Gets credit for a single.

Astros swept. Magic number stays at 2

Obviously I could be wrong, but something tells me it was his own boneheaded decision.

Probably just me, but Siri has a little too much of a Carlos Gomez feel for my liking.

Damn. What a terrible series. Pressly
0-2.

Dusty will provide a cogent and well-reasoned explanation

Would not have mattered. They win bottom 9.

Yeah, probably is. You probably liked him when he hit big HRs.

At least either the A’s or Mariners will be eliminated by Tuesday.

The Astros may be in real trouble. Bigger trouble if not for the upcoming A’s - Mariners series, which at least one of those two teams won’t survive.
